FooshTech built the Food Check AI app as a Freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by FooshTech at no cost to download but contains advertisements and optional in-app purchases, and is intended for use as is.

Our app requires camera access to scan nutrition labels and product barcodes. Images are captured locally and sent to Google Gemini AI (Google Cloud) for processing.
When using the barcode scanner, the scanned barcode numbers are securely sent to the Open Food Facts database to retrieve product details and nutritional information. We do not transmit any personally identifiable information to this service.

When you earn credits by watching ads, we use Google's Server-Side Verification (SSV) to confirm completion. Google sends a secure callback to our server containing your User ID and reward amount. This guarantees fair credit distribution.
